Public bug reported: I upgraded to hardy about 14 hours ago. All seemed fine and well. Wifi worked better than in gutsy (not a single dropped connection in 10 hours). Then, after playing some steams games for ~10 min, the connection suddenly drops. I was used to it in gutsy, so I just clicked it and told it to reconnect. It seemed to be taking a while so I left to eat. 20 minutes later it is still "connecting" (the icon is spinning, no green lights). It seemed odd. I tried restarting nm-applet, rebooting, rebooting into old kernel (2.6.22-14) but no luck. Other apps such as wlassistant, rutilt, kwifimanager have no effect.
All restricted drivers are in use. I run an amd64 system. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Trendnet TEW-443pi (ar5212 chipset) refuses to connect to network (with WPA) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221244 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
