Public bug reported: Binary package hint: soundconverter
1. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ 2. soundconverter: Installed: 1.0.1-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 1.0.1-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1.0.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://be.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3. Expected: I have about ~100G of .m4a files (sorted by ...\<Artist>\<Album>\..... ) which I want to convert to mp3. Since I'm fairly confident by now that all tags are fairly correct, I use Sound Converter (from here on, SC) to add a few <Artist> folders to convert. After adding them to the application, the application loads the tags and allows you to start the convertion inte a chosen format. 4. What happens: ~ 90% of the time, everything works fine. But 5% of the time, the application crashes while importing the folders. And 5% it crashes while converting the files. The crash behavior seems to be consistent. A folder that crashes during importing, always crashes during importing. A folder that crashes the app during the convertion, always crashes during the convertion. I'll try to add a trace of the crash a bit further. ** Affects: soundconverter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Sound converter frequent crashes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220745 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
