I installed the basic Hardy Beta1 i386 CD, then installed ndiswrapper from the corresponding Gutsy CD. The only issue I have had today is blackouts and I can't blame Ubuntu or ndiswrapper for that.
I have been able to use the laptop with no problem while i have had power and that has been most of the afternoon, it is now 11.50 pm and I am going to turn it off now.
