Solved.
In fact it was a conflict with an old repository that I used to get Compiz
plugins on Gusty: the packages of the repository had the same name that these
on the Hardy repository so after the update compiz was not able to deal with
both of them. After Compiz purged and the extra repository removed, I reinstall
Compiz I have no more problem.
Not a Ubuntu issue, set to invalid.
