I kinda narrowed it down. It seems as if I ( i have 4pci slots) remove one of the three pci cards either my kworld high definition tuner, avermedia stereo, or my audigy, it boots up fine. Even trying to force pci and irq in bios does not allow ubuntu to boot. I recently downloaded the release candidate and the live cd will not boot unless i remove one pci device. if I leave all pci devices, it pauses and boots and gives me a HAL error.
