If i uninstall the plug-ins, it searches them, it installs them new and the cannot find them again. Mplayer only play anything. The audio files (all sort) and ogg files (audio or video) play well with any player. I had no problem before upgrading from 7.10 to 8.04. Let me know if I can give you further information.
