Binary package hint: python2.5

mounted gmail a/c with 
mount.gmailfs none ./mygmail
(I have set my a/c login passwds and other details in /etc/gmailfs.conf)
the partition mounts fine and shows up with 'df'
but when i say:
ls mygmail 
then it pops a dialog box saying " Sorry the program python2.5 closed 
unexpectedly"
