I justed wanted to submit a bug, but I saw this one. The workaround works for me.
I noticed it when trying to use the repository manager in Adept manager. When clicking on e.g. the pulldown-menu with the servers; my system locked up for 15 secs. (mouse was still working). The system was not really locked up, because the background processes were still running.
