I have disabled FAIR_GROUP_SCHED in my kernel config. Tested this on both vanila 2.6.25 and ubuntu srouces 2.6.24 (downloaded via apt today) -- this is old config $cat .config | grep FAIR # CONFIG_FAIR_CGROUP_SCHED is not set CONFIG_FAIR_GROUP_SCHED=y CONFIG_FAIR_USER_SCHED=y --this is my modification $cat .config | grep FAIR # CONFIG_FAIR_GROUP_SCHED is not set
