Hi, Same problem here... (info below)... Updated from feisty to hardy RC... Now snd-hda modules aren't working and I have no sound card detected at all.
Of course they used to work like a charm, otherwise I wouldn't be posting here ! My host is a dell laptop XPS M1710 - rt kernel do give sound... OK - my old kernel (from feisty) has sound as well...
