I am using Ubuntu Hardy up-to-date in german language. I can confirm the panel freeze, although I have not done the above described steps. I have no idea what could be the reason for this. 3 days ago everything was working just fine and now both panel freeze at single click on the clock applet. Restarting the panel "killall gnome-panel" makes it work again, but if click on the clock applet, the freeze occurs again.
I have only installed an ip-blocker, which caused, that no temperature and weather info was displayed, but have removed it again. So this should not be the reason, or I'm wrong?
