Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
I've been using Hardy since beta and have seen this problem up through today when I did a fresh install of the RC. I have an ATI HD2600 video card and am using the fglrx driver. If I suspend my laptop and then resume, compiz shows signs of corruption (shadows are rendered as garbage). Whenever I try to quit Xorg (log off, shut down, CTRL+ALT+Backspace) the computer hard locks and I am unable to even use the ALT+SYSREQ combinations to restart. I have tried this with Catalyst 8.3 from the repositories and 8.4 with the same results. Disabling compiz, suspend/resume works without a problem. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- compiz corruption upon resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219353 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
