I notice that you are attempting to upgrade from 6.06 to 7.04. Is that deliberate or is that a typo? Upgrading from 6.06 to 7.04 is not supported because it skips the 6.10 release. Upgrading from 6.06 directly to 8.04 (Hardy heron) is supported as described here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HardyUpgrades#head- e7f287c730b93116f89de7ea7e05efbe95fa6dd1 So that might be a better option once 8.04 is released in another week or so.
If it was a typo and you meant 8.04 then could you please attach the log files from /var/log/dist-upgrade and we can try to figure out what caused this. ** Changed in: update-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- update-manager -d https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219007 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
