But in reality there was no other application running. Is this a reasonable translation of what you said? Could you also provide us with some more information about the steps you took when this problem occurred. 1. What version of ubuntu are you running and what version were you trying to upgrade to? For example gutsy to hardy 2. Could you describe the steps you took to perform the upgrade. 3.
