Please apply the patch! I've got the HVR-1300 too and I get exactly the same errors!
@Dupond Jean-Louis: Where did you apply the patch? I've downloaded the latest v4l sources, but the modules don't work with 2.6.24 -- there's unresolved symbols. Did you recmpile the ubuntu modules from the source packages?
