'3d acceleration is disabled or is not supported by this build of
Ubuntu/Kubuntu - it worked while under restricted drivers in previous
versions - it doesn't seem to be even considered by new drivers. As a
consequence, gmes which require 3d will not run, such as Open Arena,
Chromium, 3D chess, and the open source version of Doom. In Wine, have
only one game working where previously I had several, and it will not
work in open GL mode, only 2d mode'.... still a problem, even though
drivers and updates have been made. Worked previously on older builds,
but doesn't now.
