Situation with russian dic in Debian even worse. All other popular distributions have worthy spell checking inside. Suse has its own, sun/novell dictionaries. Seems like most of distro come to ispell or aspell dicts in OpenOffice.org, and does not use myspell for spell checking in mainstream any more.
