Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gconf2

I was installing updates through update-manager today (on hardy 32-bit),
when suddenly update-manager hung while trying to upgrade the gconf2
package. You can see the terminal view, with all the error messages that
it listed, in the attached screenshot. (It hung right after outputting
the last line you see in the screenshot.)

BTW, does anyone know what I should do to get rid of this stuck update-
manager that's hanging around on top of everything else? Do I just do a
force kill of it? Or will that seriously mess up whatever updates it's
already installed?

** Affects: gconf2 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
