Christian,
In the thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=4700766) above
mentioned, is reported the trace regarding a webcam that a person told me was a
VX-3000. Now, today exactly, I asked to confirm this info. It seems that the
webcam adopted was a NX-3000. So my first statement is incorrect. The second
trace

on another(working) PC we have:
Here you go:

UEVENT[1208033301.357831] add /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb7/7-1 (usb)
UEVENT[1208033301.357918] add /class/usb_endpoint/usbdev7.3_ep00 (usb_endpoint)
UEVENT[1208033301.358115] add /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb7/7-1/7-1:1.0

UEVENT[1208033301.358473] add /class/usb_endpoint/usbdev7.3_ep83 (usb_endpoint)
....

is invalid, it regards a NX-3000!!!

Now if you want, we can close this bug for generic reasons, but the problem
remain, a lot of people in their unlucky life bought a microsoft webcam. Cas
you try to help us..
Thank you
Claudio
