It would be very nice to get this fixed. mythfrontend crashes several times a day for me. Sometimes it crashes 3 times in a row just trying to start. It also tends to crash when I am done watching a video. You can see one of my stack traces as a duplicate of this bug.
Is anyone upstream at AMD/ATI working on this? Since fglrx is closed source there's not much we can do without their help right? I can't even figure out where to report bugs to them. I bought a nice new AMD processor and motherboard with ATI 780G chipset a few weeks ago. Would be great if they could fix their binary blob so things aren't crashing so much. -- [fglrx] __driCreateNewScreen_20050727 () from /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/199455 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
