** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: kdebase

I have an HP DV6245 laptop with a synaptic touchpad and it has a button
that disables the touchpad and this works fine. However, when I unlock
the touchpad it KDE Help Center is opened. This happens every time.
Here are what may be some relevant lines from my dmesg file:

  [ 2895.286295] atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xd8 on
isa0060/serio0).
  [ 2895.286301] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e058 <keycode>' to make it known.
  [ 2922.425474] psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost
synchronization, throwing 1 bytes away.
[ 2922.936319] psmouse.c: resync failed, issuing reconnect request

I am not sure what in KDE is causing the help to be launched. Please
let me know what other information would be useful.
+
+ WORKAROUND:
+ In Gnome use System -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts to disable the
"Launch help browser" keyboard shortcut.
