This error had been corrected, but is now present again with the latest
update to 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3.

  Installed: 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3
  Candidate: 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3
  Version table:
 *** 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

The error is as follows (exactly the same as the previous error):

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libxine1-ffmpeg: Depends: libxine1-bin (= 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu2) but
1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

I attempted completely uninstalling the xine-lib components and
reinstalling them, as that is what corrected the issue before, but that
did not work.
