Please do not give this advice.

The new udev package _WILL_ help people who upgraded to Hardy before the
upload, it corrects any existing rules file.

The above advice is wrong, and can cause people more problems that in
solves; the 70-persistent-net.rules file should never be deleted out of
hand.
