Newbie, bear with me. Can no longer boot into Ubuntu to check my
terminology for this report.
After running a system update successfully, but trying unsuccessfully to
install nvidia driver (jockey bug), I couldn't access the device manager
(?) in Admin. After rebooting Vista had been removed from the grub menu.
Fortunately I could restore my MBR to pre-Ubuntu from an image so no
harm done.
Think I'll install this stand alone on another box. Thanks for a great
job. Ubuntu 8.04 is the quantum leap that will finally get me into
Linux.
