hi colin, If it's not so straightforward, I understand your reasons. But, I already knew how to use kickstart with redhat, and what I need now is the names of the Ubuntu groups, if any, to avoid entering hundreds of package names in ks.cfg.
Anyway, you should at least modify the help on package selection, featuring a window showing all groups with their checkbox. I suspect that you took this from a redhat box! I take this opportunity to mention an other (minor) bug: there a shift between the selected item and the displayed help: to get the help on 'package selection', you must select 'display configuration" -- package selection section has no packages to select https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/21214 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
