Public bug reported: Starting with version 0.3, the sunbird calendar file format changed from .ics to the (sqlite based) .sdb, see http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/faq.html#format for further information.
The opensync-plugin-sunbird package does not support the newer format and should thus get removed to avoid user confusion. One possible alternative would be to rename it to opensync-plugin-ics to make clear it can only be used to sync ics files (in the plugin config, you can point it at a file). A plugin supporting the new thunderbird/lightning (and possibly soon sunbird as well) format is being developped at http://kaarposoft.dk/bluezync/ but is 0.3x based and not in Debian (yet, on my TODO), so this should hopefully be back for hardy+1. ** Affects: libopensync-plugin-sunbird (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Package should get removed or renamed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215981 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
