I believe this fix is eligible for a Freeze Exception. First, the hardware driver dialog is broken for everyone (AFAIK), and this patch has only fixed it so far for several folks. I don't know Python or the jockey architecture that well, so I don't know the impact of it. Maybe someone else can elaborate on this. It looks like a small fix to me. I doubt it makes anything worse.
