Public bug reported: Noticed today that bluetooth wasn't active in my Asus G1 notebook because bluez-utils wasn't installed. Once I installed the package the device was correctly detected and bluetooth was activated. I can't be sure if this was corrected recently as hardy Alpha 2 was installed in this notebook and it's being updated daily ever since. Oddly enough, the bluetooth manager was available in the System/Preferences menu.
