A nice mix of version numbers. ^.^

I've recently reinstalled (Wanted to try another distribution; what a
fiasco that turned out to be) and I'm still experiencing the same
symtoms; no change as of now. It may be because I upgraded from 7.10 to
8.04, but I can't say for sure.
