I have just tested it again on a fresh Ubuntu Hardy installation from the daily image from yesterday. installed scim-anthy, opened firefox3, activated Anthy input method and pressed Ctrl+N to open a new window. Works without problems here. Installed versions: libanthy0 9100d-1 scim-anthy 1.2.4-1ubuntu2 firefox 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
If it still occurs on an upgraded system, maybe it's some configuration thing?
