Public bug reported:

When using compiz with the nvidia driver from lrm, shadows and title bar
(if transparent) will become corrupted or simply be missing. This issue
is fixed by uninstalled nvidia-glx-new and adding "nv" to /etc/default
/linux-restricted-modules-common. Afterwards installing the nvidia
binary using the .run from the official site and starting X again will
result in a properly functioning nvidia driver.

It appears when lrm installs the nvidia libraries it runs dh_strip on
them which causes their checksums to be different from those in the
official package. It seems that if nvidia is not doing this, we
probably shouldn't be either.

** Affects: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
