Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

After unpluggin the network cable, NetworkManager switches to the
wireless network as expected, but the memory usage of the NetworkManager
process increases by about 1-1.5mb. When switching back to wired network
the same thing happens, and after repeated plugging/unplugging the
network cable, the memory usage just keeps growing. I'm using the
knetworkmanager applet in kubuntu (Hardy development branch, release
8.04, all updates installed), so I'm not sure if the problem is in
NetworkManager or knetworkmanager.

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
