I use the Network Manager integrated in Ubuntu. I took a look at
/etc/network/inferfaces but everything seemed ok. Plus, I just displayed it
through cat, I didn't change anything.

Actually I live in a residence (I don't know if it's the same word in
english). Internet is provided by my school. There is 7 seven residences in
my school. In each one of them, the ip addresses are from 10.20x.0.0 to
10.20x.255.255 (with x as the number of the residence).
To access the internet, we use a VPN and an HTTP proxy.
And in order to access the websites of the school I need to have
255.255.0.0as netmask because the websites are local, I can't to
access them through
the proxy.
But it's very strange, because if I boot with 255.255.0.0, it doesn't work.
Then, if I change to 255.0.0.0, it works. If I change again to 255.255.0.0,
it works too.
But, if I boot with 255.0.0.0, it doesn't work. Then, if I change to
255.255.0.0, it works.
So, I guess that it's a problem of updating with network configuration...
But, if it works for everybody I don't why it wouldn't work for me.

For now, I don't have my Ubuntu installed because I have some problem with
my hard drive. So, I can't run any test. But If you want me to do some test,
just ask, and as soon as I fix my problem I will run the tests.
