After I had upgraded gutsy to hardy, booting takes a long time to really start. 
I first see the Ubuntu logo and the indicator circling around which takes a 
long time until something probably times out. After that the normal boot 
process continues normally in which the indicator really shows how far the 
booting process is.

It looks like he is trying to do something with sdb, but I don't have an sdb 
device and I don't know how it comes to this idea. 
I checked /boot/grub/menu.lst but this is all pointing to hd(0,*) which is sda.


Please tell me if you need more info.
