Public bug reported: After I had upgraded gutsy to hardy, booting takes a long time to really start. I first see the Ubuntu logo and the indicator circling around which takes a long time until something probably times out. After that the normal boot process continues normally in which the indicator really shows how far the booting process is.

I checked /boot/grub/menu.lst but this is all pointing to hd(0,*) which is sda.
