Restarting hotkey-setup works for me as well with hardy on an Acer
Extensa 5220.

Although this is really not usable in a senseful manner.

The Xmodmap workaround ist not that of a good workaround, because Shift-
Del still remains non-functioning, as does Strg-Alt-Del. Just Del itself
works now. WAY better, sure, but not the full picture....

Does anybody has a workaround until this is fixed? What is the best way
to do this restart automatically perhaps after Xorg fires up? Or are
there xmodmap commands for making shift-del and [everything-else]-del
working?
