Unfortunately "gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0" is a generic error message that simply means X restarted for any particular reason.
It's likely that whatever crashed Anders' system has no relation to whatever crashed Henriks. Also, unfortunately without more info (like a backtrace and/or exact steps to reproduce), there is not enough data to do further debugging, so I'm going to close the bug for now. Hopefully the lack of recent response may mean that the issue has gone away with the more up to date -intel drivers? If not, please feel free to reopen, with the additional backtrace info. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Assignee: Bryce Harrington (bryceharrington) => (unassigned) Status: Confirmed => Invalid Target: ubuntu-8.04 => None -- gdm_slave_xioerror_handler error in ubuntu hardy heron Alpha 6 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201466 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
