Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: totem

Totem Movie Player 2.20.0 (2.20.0-0ubuntu3) using GStreamer 0.10.14 and
GNOME, working in Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 7.10.

While playing a flv file, the controls (pause, forward, next ch, prev
ch) work clunky at best: action lags behind clicking.

Using the mouse to drag the ruler forward or backward causes the ruler
button to stop at the start of the nearest chapter, not at any location.

Next problem is that the ruler button will follow the mouse if that is
moved to another location, even if/when the mouse is not going near the
ruler; this is quite annoying. Of course I expected that the ruler
button could be positioned on any timeframe in the video, and that it
would start there and that mouse movements away from the ruler would not
affect the positioning of the ruler.

Time indication is absent: not shown is how many minutes the video
comprises, nor how much is played, nor how much is still to be played.
Of course such information is interesting and helpful, and the absence
is annoying.

Kind regards,
Wendy
