The attached screen shot shows exactly how I've got my home directory shared using nautilus-share.
With the share setup as in the picture, I can browse to the share from Windows vista Ultimate Edition and have read-only permissions. How can I give myself read-write access? What about these scenarios (there are many other scenarios I'm sure): How can I give others read-write access? How can I give others read-only access? How can I give some people read-only access but remove the ability of others to even browse? With shares-admin, I had read-write access to my home directory without the need to play with config files. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot-File Manager.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13186846/Screenshot-File%20Manager.png -- nautilus-share permissions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212970 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
