Public bug reported: Well, sorry for such an uninformative topic, but I really don't know what can cause such problems - I didn't have it under previous GNOME versions. I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 beta on an HP Pavilion dv6570er laptop with Synaptics touchpad and I get the following: the whole input hungs occasionally, which means that the system becomes unresponsive to any input (touchpad, keyboard), although all the processes go on. The only way out in such situations is to reset the whole system manually (by unplugging the power cord). Please be free to ask me for any logs or additional info.
