Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
My Cowon U2 player gets recognized as a mass storage device and gets mounted correctly, but Nautilus doesn't show it as an audio player and Rhythmbox doesn't show it at all. Hal identifies the device correctly. In february, using a Hardy alpha, it worked right: Nautilus showed the device as a DAP, showing a button to open Rhythmbox when I browsed the device and Rhythmbox showed the device in the left panel, where I could drag music to. I don't know who is in charge of mounting devices in gnome, gnome- volume-manager doesn't exist in /usr/bin, so I filed the bug under Nautilus. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Gnome doesn't recognize my COWON U2 player as a digital audio player https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/213448 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
