Hi Fredyms, Hopefully I can answer some of your questions. First, there are a significant amount of changes between the 2.6.22 and 2.6.24 kernel. The Ubuntu kernel is rebased with the upstream kernel at the beginning of each release cycle. You can view the upstream changelog's here: http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/testing/. Then some of the Ubuntu kernel changelogs can be seen here: https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/ .
Next, it is helpful to the development teams if bug reports target one specific issue. Here you mention three issues. If you could open a new bug report for each of the other issues you are seeing that would be great. It seems like the original issue you mention may actually be a duplicate of bug 102982. Some comments there mention blacklisting intel_rng as a temporary workaround. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress => Confirmed -- couldn't start with 2.6.24-12 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205715 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
