I don't know if it is the same bug, but my Linksys WUSB-11 (Version 2.16) causes a kernel panic in the Heron beta livecd. It is recognized (there is a dmesg line), it accepts the iwconfig command to set the essid and key, but when I attempt to use dhclient to acquire an IP address, the kernel goes BLAM!
