this bug is harmless in my system. even though it does occur, system continues to function normally during and after this bug is detected. reason for crash is unknown, but most occurrences related to firefox (in my case all instances of it have happened during web surfing (suspect flash media type content could be a trigger). gdb considered npviewer not a known file or directory. backtrace incomplete.
