Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-15-generic

Hi there,

I've just tested my logitech quickcam for notebooks and it won't work.
When I plug-in the camera, it registers fine in /dev/video1 but won't
work. At this point, I must say I have a pci TV card in this computer,
which registers as video0.

In amsn or ekiga, it will only let me choose the tv, they don't show the
webcam at all. In camorama, if I do camorama --device=/dev/video1 I get
this error: "Could not connect to video device (/dev/video1). Please
check connection." Running camorama in sudo doesn't work either.

I remember that cam had work on some older ubuntu release, can't
remember which one, though (maybe breezy?). The camera isn't broken, it
works in windows.
