No sound at all using one of gnome's gstreamer app : totem, rhythmbox, exaile.. In exaile and rhythmbox, nothing happen : no sound, no error, progress bar don't move. In totem : error message : "Failed to create stream (null)" Setup seems ok as using mplayer with pulse output selected in prefs on A send sound to B ok I also try : mpg123 -s fichier.mp3 | pacat -> ok it seems the problem is in gstreamer, altough in gstreamer-properties Pulseaudio Output is selected and clicking "Test" send sound from A to B ok. I try with gst-launch : # gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=fichier.mp3 ! mad ! pulsesink result in : Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Pipeline is PREROLLING ... ERROR: from element /pipeline0/pulsesink0: Failed to create stream: (null) Additional debug info: pulsesink.c(388): gst_pulsesink_prepare (): /pipeline0/pulsesink0 ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll. Setting pipeline to NULL ... FREEING pipeline ... + + Was working fine in Gutsy Gibbon
