This still doesn't fix the problem if Network Manager doesn't recognize your connection. I followed the directions at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=598890 to set up a bluetooth PAN connection to my WM6 phone. Recently, Hardy released a new bluetooth and bluez-utils package that did not include the "pand" command, which I need to set up my bluetooth connection (bnep0). I'm running my bluetooth stuff from another repository as described in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez-utils/+bug/192043
I am currently connected to the internet, yet Firefox, Pidgin, etc. still reports as offline because of NM. ** Attachment added: "unnamed" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13135930/unnamed -- Firefox's new "Offline Mode" feature cannot properly detect when there is a valid network available for use in many circumstances https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191889 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
