Noting the refusal to keep #210114 open and close THIS report #207342, I can now confirm that Exaile is the outstanding problem, conflicting with VLC Player and Kaffeine Player which now do not conflict with each other. If Exaile is launched after the others, it refuses to actually play and when then closed, generates an error. If Exaile is launched first, it blocks the actual launch of Kaffeine Player or blocks VLC Player sound.
Exaile also fails to Fetch Album covers from Amazon.
