Public bug reported: When external storage is plugged in at shutdown, the mount point folder remains in /media, causing several new mount points to be created. After a few reboots, /media contains something like
diskname diskname_ diskname__ diskname___ diskname____ etc. To the best of my knowledge, this started a few days ago with an update. See also http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=745236 A temporary solution is to unmount the drive and delete these folders before shutdown. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Fails to delete mount point for external storage on shutdown https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212085 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
