oh. I have something similar too, sometimes. In my case, the screen starts flickering, and HDD actvity rises for a minute or so. Then the computer simply stops doing anything. This seems to happen for me when i'm typing and moving a mouse, and some sound is playing. And this happens on random basis, so I can't tell exactly how to reproduce my bug.
