** Description changed: The problem: Sounds works OK, but after suspend/hibernate sound doesn't work any more. I didn't use suspend/hibernate options under Gutsy, so I can't tell you if it's a regression. Pulseaudio is activated. I verified nothing is muted. I don't get any error message like 'ressource unavailable'. I just have no sound, whatever the application I use. I'm under GNOME. Would it be interrestong to test this with KDE? what version then? 3.5 or 4 ? - Hardy with latest updates: Linux **** 2.6.24-11-generic #1 SMP Fri Feb - 29 22:08:31 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux + updated: + Hardy with latest updates: Linux **** 2.6.24-14-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 3 04:49:29 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux 00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia Subsystem: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd Unknown device c511 Flags: bus master, slow devsel, latency 64, IRQ 17 Memory at d0000000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K] Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2 My computer is a laptop, Samsung R20.
